The GRYC PS/IS 87 After-School Program serves approximately 175 children. Our Program is available to the students of PS/IS 87 in grades K-5 for in person activities. Our program operates Monday – Friday, between 2:40pm-5:30pm in accordance with the school calendar year. Our program provides snack daily through the USDA through School Food Services, NYC Department of Education.

Our goal is to provide a safe, educational and fun filled environment that supports the Department of Education’s learning goals. We follow all DOH COVID Guidelines. Our activities are designed to provide educational enrichment and SEL through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Homework Help, Gym/Fitness, Arts & Crafts, Games, Sports Activities, Community Service, Leadership, and much more. The Homework Help program enhances the student’s school day experience. Snacks are provided daily by the USDA through School Food Services, NYC Department of Education.
